Week one of production

The first week of production that including filming required me to find two recce and thankfully I did, this allowed me to have others to help me set up in the colleges studio, I had chosen the studio because of the lights it has in and as well as the projector which is playing a huge part in my video. The first hour was getting the equipment such as trip pod camera, projector and lights sorted for shooting, this allowed me to understand the equipment more so in the future I can be more efficient and film more effectively. After arranging all the equipment we decided to film the intro of the video which was videoing footage that was being projected onto the wall with all the lights turned off and then I would stand in front of the projector whilst miming the lyrics along with the song.

After two hours of shooting I decided to experiment outside of the studio and into natural lighting within Newcastle I set up the camera overlooking the river and was starting to see how I could film the second narrative of my video. It worked effectively I gained test footage and feel confident for when in future I decide to film in Newcastle.
